I love to make jewelry that is one-of-a-kind. It is rewarding to work with clients to create meaningful pieces, whether it's a gift for a loved one or a piece of memory jewelry for themselves.
I enjoy working with a variety of materials (fabric, beach stones, gemstones, seaglass, vintage jewelry, etc). I find it exciting that so many things can be incorporated into a piece of jewelry.
If you have something you love, or just an idea, perhaps I can make a piece of Memory Jewelry for you!

THE CUSTOM DESIGN PROCESS
Designing custom jewelry is a lot of fun—it's what I like to do best. Perhaps it's the 30 years as a graphic designer that makes me comfortable with the process of custom design. I will work with you, within your budget to create a piece of handcrafted jewelry that is meaningful and beautiful.
Contact me and we will set up a meeting. We will discuss the personality and style of the individual wearer as well as size and scale of the jewelry and your budget. If elements (gems, fabric, beach stones, sea glass, existing jewelry, etc.) are to be incorporated, please bring them with you. Jewelry can be inspired by just about anything—if you do not have an object, a memory or your imagination works just fine! That's what makes the process so much fun.
Sometimes a design is determined during the consultation; other times more time is needed for me to prepare a few renderings. I generally share the drawings via email; you will then review the renderings and adjustments can be made if needed. Final technical to-scale illustrations are provided—envisioning your piece is easy. When we have a plan, a deposit is taken and I will begin handcrafting your custom piece.
My workshop is located next to my house in Kittery Point, Maine.
